| dc.description.abstract | Çalışmada, Kosova Cumhuriyeti'nin bağımsız devlet olma sürecini, hem tarihsel açıdan geçmişten günümüze kadar yaşanan gelişmeler çerçevesinde hem de egemenlik teorileri açısından devlet olabilme kriterleri göz önünde bulundurarak, özerk bir bölgenin bağımsız egemen bir devlet olabilme yolunda uluslar üstü bir örgüt niteliği taşıyan Avrupa Birliği'nin bu süreçte nasıl bir rol üstlendiğinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Bu bağlamda egemen devlet unsurları, Kosova'nın tarihsel süreçte bu kriterleri nasıl ve hangi gerekçelerle sağladığı değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın konusu çerçevesinde, Avrupa Birliği'nin gelişim süreci, Kosova Cumhuriyeti'ne bağımsızlık ilanı öncesi ve sonrasında yapılan katkılar ve üstlendiği rol bazında ele alınmıştır. Yugoslavya'ya bağlı özerk bölge olan Kosova, soğuk savaş sonrasında milliyetçilik akımının bu bölgede hızla yayılmasıyla birlikte soykırıma varan şiddete maruz kalmıştır. NATO birliklerinin insani müdahalesi gerekçesi ile bölgeye konuşlanmış, Kosova halkı uzun yıllardır beklediği huzura kavuşmuştur. Kosova Cumhuriyeti, 17 Şubat 2008 tarihinde bağımsızlığını ilan etmiş, günümüzde 116 ülke tarafından tanınmıştır. Bu süreçte Kosova, egemenliğini sağlayarak yeni devlet olma mücadelesi verirken, uluslar arası toplumda tanınma mücadelesi de vermektedir. Bu tezde esas itibariyle, Kosova Cumhuriyeti'nin bağımsızlık vurgusu ile birlikte devletleşme süreci belirtilmektedir. Ayrıca Kosova – Avrupa Birliği ilişkileri incelenen bu tezde, bağımsızlığa giden süreçte AB'nin bölgeye yönelik politikaları analiz edilmiş, bölgede barış ve istikrarın sağlanabilmesi için Kosova'nın AB ile bütünleşme çabaları, yapılan anlaşmalar ve çalışmalar analiz edilerek entegrasyon süreci de değerlendirilmiştir | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study it is aimed at explaining the role of the European Union (EU), as a supranational organization, on the statehood process of Kosovo in the context of historical developments, as well as the criterias of being a sovereign state. In this context, the elements of a sovereign state and how and by which basis Kosovo has met these criterias in the historical process is studied. In the context of the topic, the EU's development process, its contributions before and after the declaration of independence has been discussed. Kosovo, as an autonomous region, contingent to Yugoslavia was subject to violence acts which nearly got up to genocide, after the Cold War era, when the nationalism was rised. After the NATO troops entered Kosovo fort he purpose of humanitarian intervention, the people of Kosovo found peace. The republic of Kosovo declared independence on 17 February 2008 and is recognised by 116 countries as a state at the present time. In this process, Kosovo tries to assure its sovereignty and to gain recognition of the international community at the same time. In this study it is emphasized on the independence and the process of statehood of Kosovo and the Kosovo-EU relations. In the process of the statehood of Kosovo, EU's regional policies, the efforts of Kosovo to integrate with EU and the agreements are analysed. | en_US |
