dc.description.abstractÇalışmada materyal olarak 12 haftalık Amerikan Bronz x Betina melezi erkek hindiler kullanıldı. Hindiler 4 gruba ayrıldı. Birinci gruba ad libitum, 2., 3. ve 4. gruplara sırasıyla %7, %14 ve %21 sınırlı besleme uygulandı. 56 günlük besi sonunda hindilerin canlı ağırlıkları saptandı ve kesim esnasında kan alınarak serum glukoz, toplam kolesterol, trigliserit, albumin, globulin, toplam protein, sodyum (Na), potasyum (K), klor (Cl) ve inorganik fosfor (İP) düzeyleri otoanalizör kullanılarak ölçüldü. Besi sonunda en düşük ağırlıklar % 21 sınırlı besleme uygulanan grupta saptanırken (p≤0.001), serum glukoz, toplam kolesterol, trigliserit, albumin, globulin ve toplam protein düzeyleri %21 sınırlı besleme uygulanan grupta ad libitum, %7 ve %14 sınırlı besleme uygulanan gruplara göre istatistiksel açıdan değişik düzeylerde (p≤0.01 ve p≤0.001) olmak üzere daha yüksek bulundu. Serum sodyum (Na), potasyum (K), klor (Cl) ve inorganik fosfor (İP) düzeylerinde ise farklılık saptanmadı. Çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar ile hindilere uygulanacak sınırlı besleme oranının ad libitum beslemenin %14’ünü geçmemesinin, hayvanın metabolizmasının bozulmaması ve canlı ağırlık kazancının düşmemesi açısından yararlı olacağı kanısına varıldı.tr_TR
dc.description.abstract2 weeks old American Bronz x Betina crossbred male turkeys were used as materials in this study. Turkeys were divided four groups. First group was fed ad libitum, 2., 3. and 4. groups were fed 7%, 14% and 21% restricted feeding, respectively. At the end of feeding for 56 days, live weights of turkeys were determined and blood was taken during the slaughtering. Serum glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, albumin, globulin, total protein, sodium (Na), potassium (K), chloride (Cl) and inorganic phosphorus (IP) levels were measured by using auotanalyzer. Serum glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, albumin, globulin, total protein levels were higher in 21% restricted group than ad libitum, 7% and 14% restricted groups in statistically various levels (p≤0.01 and p≤0.001), while 21% group had less live weights comparing to the other groups (p≤0.001). The results of the study indicated that the restricted feeding of turkeys should not be more than 14% of ad libitum feeding for not causing decreases of live weights and disturbances of metabolism.en_US
