dc.description.abstractGiriş ve Amaç: Bu araştırmada; sağlıklı ve term doğan bebeklerde farklı beslenme şekillerine göre, koklear fonksiyonları değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla yaşamın ilk 6 ayı sadece anne sütü, anne sütünün yanında mama ve sadece mama ile beslenen sağlıklı bebeklerden oluşturulan üç grup ile çalışıldı. Yöntem ve Gereçler: Çalışmaya, herhangi bir risk faktörü taşımayan miadında ve sağlıklı doğmuş 53 bebek dahil edilmiştir. İlk 6 ay sadece anne sütü ile beslenen 23 bebek grup 1, anne sütünün yanında mama ile beslenen 19 bebek grup 2, sadece mama ile beslenen 11 bebek grup 3 olarak isimlendirilmiştir. Bebeklere altıncı ayın sonunda Kulak Burun Boğaz muayenesi yapılmış ve dış ve orta kulak problemi olmayanlar çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Bebeklerin Transient Evoked-Otoakustik Emisyon testi (TE-OAE) ile 1000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 2000 Hz, 3000 Hz ve 4000 Hz’de sinyal gürültü oranları (Signal to Noise Ratio-SNR) değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Anne sütü, anne sütü ile birlikte mama ve sadece mama ile beslenen bebeklerin değerlendirilen tüm frekanslarda TE-OAE değerleri arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunamamıştır (p>0,05). Tartışma ve Sonuç: Çalışmamıza göre, anne sütü, anne sütü ile birlikte mama ve sadece mama ile beslenen bebeklerin ilk altı ay sonundaki koklear fonksiyonları arasında herhangi bir fark mevcut değildir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: This research aims to assess cochlear functions of the healthy and term infants as to different type of nutrition. Three groups are formed as breastfed only, breastfed with formula and formula only baby food during 6 months. Methods: 53 healthy infants without any risk factors were enrolled in this study. Group 1 consisted 23 infants fed only with breast milk; group 2 consisted 19 infants fed with breast milk and formula; group 3 consisted 11 infants fed with only formula. When the infants were 6 months old, Ear Nose and Throat examinations were done and the infants with outer and middle ear pathologies were excluded. Signal to noise ratio (SNR) values of the infants at 1000 Hz, 1500 Hz, 2000 Hz, 3000 Hz and 4000 Hz were measured with Transient Evoked Otoacoustics Emission (TEOAE) test. Results: There were no significant difference of TE-OAE values in all evaluated frequencies between the infants who fed with breast milk only, breast milk and formula, and formula only (p>0,05). Dıscussion and Conclusion: According to our study, there are no difference of cochlear functions of breast milk only, breast milk with formula, and formula only fed infants after six months.en_US
