| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmanın genel amacı ilköğretim birinci sınıf öğrencilerinde kelime dağarcığı gelişiminin ilk okuma yazma başarısı ve sosyoekonomik düzey ile ilişkisini incelemektir. Araştırma Şırnak ili Silopi ilçesinde, Atatürk ve Mehmet Akif İlköğretim Okullarında eğitim ve öğrenim gören toplam 100 ilköğretim birinci sınıf öğrencisi ile 2008-2009 öğretim yılının ikinci dönem süresince gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak ailenin eğitim ve ekonomik durumunu tespit etmek amacıyla Sosyoekonomik düzey ölçeği öğrencilerin kelime dağarcığına ilişkin bilgileri tespit etmek amacıyla Peabody Resim Kelime Testi uygulanmıştır. Okuma yazma başarıları ölçümü ise sene sonu Türkçe ders notları incelenerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizleri için SPSS 13.0 Paket Programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, yüzdelikler, Mann Whitney U Testi ve korelasyon analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Tek yönlü 0.05 ve 0.01 anlamlık düzeyleri esas alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ulaşılan bulgular aşağıda gösterilen biçimdedir. İlköğretim 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin kelime darcığı ile ilk okuma yazma başarısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki vardır ve kelime dağarcığı gelişmiş olan öğrencilerin gelişmemiş olan öğrencilere göre okuma yazma başarılarının daha yüksek seviyede olduğu bulunmuştur. İlköğretim 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin sosyoekonomik düzeyleri arttıkça kelime dağarcığı gelişim düzeyi de artmaktadır. Alt sosyoekonomik düzeyden gelen öğrencilerin kelime dağarcığı gelişimleri orta ve üst sosyoekonomik düzeyden gelen öğrencilerin kelime dağarcığı gelişimlerinden daha düşük olduğu bulunmuştur. İlköğretim 1. Sınıf öğrencilerinin cinsiyet kelime dağarcıkları arasında önemli bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Cinsiyet ve ilköğretim birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin ilk okuma yazma başarıları arasında önemli bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Sosyoekonomik düzey yükseldikçe ilköğretim 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin ilk okuma yazma başarıları da yükselmektedir. Alt sosyoekonomik düzeyden gelen öğrencilerin ilk okuma yazma başarılarının orta ve üst sosyoekonomik düzeyden gelen öğrencilerin ilk okuma yazma başarılarından daha düşük olduğu bulunmuştur. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | The overall aim of this research is to analyse the relationship of the vocabulary development of the first grade students with the success of reading and writing skills, and socio-economical class. The research has been performed during the period of second term in 2008-2009 educational year over totally 100 students at first grade of Atatürk and Mehmet Akif Primary Schools in Silopi –district of Şırnak. As a tool of gaining information, by the aim of enhance the vocabulary knowledge Peabody picture-vocabulary test has been applied, and by the aim of seizing economical and social estates of families the socio-economical scale has been used at research.Also the indication of success in reading and writing skills has been gained by observing the marks of Turkish as a subject. SPSS 13.0 Packet Program has been used for the statictical analyses of outputs gained from the research.The outputs of the research and the percentages has been analyzed by the help of U Test of Mann Whitney and correlation analysis. One-way 0,05 and 0,1 significiance levels have been predicated on for the analysis. As a result of the research, the findings are shown as below: There is a meaningful relationship between the success in reading and writing skills, and the vocabulary knowledge of first grade students.It is obvious that the students,whose vocabulary knowledge is at higher stages, are at higher levels in success of reading and writing skills than those, whose vocabulary knowledge is at lower stages. It is observed that as the socio-economical class increases, the level of vocabulary development increases. According to the research it is found that, the level of vocabulary development of the students from lower socio-economical class is lower than the ones from higher socio-economical classes. There is no relationship is found between vocabulary knowledge and sex.There is no meaningful relation is found between the first grade students’ sexes and their success in reading and writing skillsis found. It is noticed that as the socio-economical class increases, their success in reading and writing skills increases.The success in reading and writing skills of the first grade students from lower socio-economical class is lower than the ones from higher socioeconomical classes. | en_US |
