dc.description.abstractBilimsel önermeler geleneksel olarak basit öznel/yüklem cümleleri gibi kavranmaktadır. Ancak, basit özne/yüklem önermeleri bilim dilinin çok küçük bir kısmını oluşturmaktadır. Bazı filozoflar bilimsel cümleleri tekil özne/yüklem önermeleri olarak yorumlamanın bi limsel pratiği doğru bir biçimde kavramayı engellediğini vurgulamaktadır. Bu makalenin ana tezi bilimsel önermelerin geleneksel özne/yüklem cümleleri olarak görülmesinin bilim dilini basite indirgemek olduğu ve bilimsel önermelerin genel olarak olaylar arasındaki karmaşık ilişki ifadeleri olarak görülmesi gerektiğidir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractScientific propositions are traditionally conceived of as simple subject/predicate state ments. Singular subject/predicate propositions make up a very smail portion of scientific jargon , however. Some philosophers emphasize that to view scientific statements as sin gular subject/predicate propositions has hindered the proper canception of scientific prac tice. In this paper, I argue that scientific propositions in general express complicated rela tions among states of affairs , and that to see scientific propositions within the traditional subject/predicate conception of statements is an oversimplifıcation of scientific language.en_US
