Mâtürîdî kelâm düşüncesinde astroloji eleştirileri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, İslâm inanç esaslarının tespit ve muhafazası için tesis edilmiş Kelâm ilminin, akaidkelâm literatüründe kendisine değinilecek derecede nazar-ı dikkate aldığı ve tarih boyunca güncelliğini koruyarak inananların zihinlerinde şüphe oluşturan bir ilim olarak gördüğü astroloji ve astrologlara yönelttiği eleştiriler incelenecektir. Bu kapsamlı konu, sınırlanması bakımından özellikle Mâtürîdî kelâm ekolünün tespit edilebilen yaklaşımları çerçevesinde ele alınacaktır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde kelâm düşünce tarihi içinde astroloji çerçevesinde çalışmaya hazırlayıcı birtakım bilgiler sunulacak ve çalışmanın, klasik kaynak incelemesi aracıyla elde edilen verilerinin betimsel analizinin sunulduğu bir yöntem takip edilecektir. Birinci bölümde astroloji ve ilgili terkiplerin kavramsal olarak tahlili yapılacaktır. Ardından ʿilm-i aḥkâm-ı nücûm olarak da anılan bu ilmin, ilimler hiyerarşisindeki yeri ve meşruiyetine dair düşünceler ortaya konulacaktır. Akabinde arka plana dair bir izah olması bakımından İslâm öncesi ve İslâmî dönem itibariyle konunun tarihi süreci kısaca sunulacaktır. İkinci bölümde Mâtürîdî kelâm düşüncesinde astrolojiye dair yaklaşımlar ve eleştiri noktaları belirlenerek kelâmcılar nazarında bu ilmin konumu ve taraftarlarına dair tutumlar ifade edilecektir. Mâtürîdî kelâmında, astroloji ve astrologlara yönelik ortaya konulan eleştiriler ve tespit edilen bulgular; bilgi, âlem/kozmoloji, Allah ve nübüvvet tasavvuru noktasında belirlenen başlık ve alt başlıklar çerçevesinde incelenecektir. Sonuç olarak çalışma, bilgi teorisi, âlemin kıdemi, Allah dışında ilahlar kabulü ve nübüvvetin inkârı şeklinde ortaya çıkan bulguların ifadesi ve yeni çalışma önerilerini içeren sonuç kısmıyla tamamlanacaktır.

In this study, the criticisms of the science of Kalām, which was established to determine and preserve the principles of Islamic belief, against astrology and astrologers, have been taken into consideration to the extent that it has been mentioned in the ʿaqāʾid-kalām literature and which has remained upto-date throughout history and created doubt in the minds of believers, will be examined. The subject will be discussed, especially within the framework of the existing approaches of the Māturīdī school. In the introductory part of the study, preparatory information will be presented within the framework of astrology. Then, the method of the study, which is a cultural research, will be presented. This includes the descriptive analysis of the data obtained through the classical source document review tool. In the first part, a conceptual analysis of astrology and related compounds will be made. Then, the place and legitimacy of this science, which is also known as ʿIlm aḥkām al-nujūm, in the hierarchy of sciences will be revealed. Afterwards, the process of the issue in pre-Islamic and Islamic periods will be briefly presented. In the second part, the approaches and criticisms of astrology in the thought of Māturīdī kalām will be determined and the position of this science and its supporters will be expressed in terms of theologians. Criticisms of astrology and astrologers in Māturīdī theology; knowledge, universe/cosmology and God’s vision will be examined under the headings determined. As a result, the study will be completed with the conclusion part, which includes the expression of the findings such as the seniority of the world, the acceptance of gods other than Allah and the denial of prophecy.
