Abstract
Kalp-damar sisteminde uyarıcı etki yapan Ketamin İle depresyon yapan Pentobarbital'in Tirozin hidroksilaz aktivitesine etkileri araştırıldı. Kg/100 mg. Ketamine Kg/ 30 mg. Pentobarbital 10'ar sıçandan oluşan gruplara periton içine enjekte edildi. Tirozin hidroksilaz aktivitesi böbrek üstü bezlerinde radyo enzimatik yöntemle ölçüldü. Gerek Ketamine, gerekse Pentobarbital enzim aktivitesine anlamlı bir değişiklik yada (p > 0.05) (p > 0.05). Bu sonuçlardan , Ketamin 'in katekolamin sentezine etkisinin henüz açıklık kazanamadığı düşüncesine varıldı.
The effects on the tyrosine hydroxylase activity of Ketamine and Pentobarbital were studied in the rat adrenal gland. Ketamine causes cardiovascular stimulation presumably, but Pentobarbital has depressani effect. 100 mg./ kg. Ketamine and 30 mg./kg. Pentobarbital was injected intraperitoneally on two rat groups. Tyrosine hydroxylase activity in adrenal gland was measured using a radio enzymatic method. Both Ketamine and Pentobarbital did not change the activity of tyrosine hydroxylase activity significantly (p > 0.05), (p > 0.05). The effect of Ketamine on the synthesis of catecholamine cannot be understood clearly from these results.
