dc.description.abstractBu araştırma kuzularda besi başlangıç ağırlığının besi performansına etkisini ve en ekonomik besi başı ağırlığını tespit etmek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışınanın materyalini 58 baş erkek kuzu oluşturmuştur. Hayvanlar besi başlangıcında üç canlı ağırlık grubuna ayrılmışlardır. Gruplara 20, 19 ve 19 baş hayvan konulmuştur. I. grubun ortalama besi başı ağırlığı 24.72 kg, II. grubun 28.01 kg ve lll. grubun ise 31.16 kg olmuştur. tüm gruplar 43 kg canlı ağırlıkta kesilmiştir. Besi süresi gruplarda sırası ile 68.80, 59.47 ve 47.00 gün olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Günlük ortalama canlı ağırlık artışı gruplarda, sırası ile; 274.68, 274,66 ve 277.75 g bulunmuştur. Gruplar arası farklar istatistiki bakımdan önemsiz çıkmıştır. Bir kilogram canlı ağırlık artışı için tüketilen kuru madde miktarı sırası ile 6.39, 6.90 ve 6.74 kg olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bütün gruplarda marjinal gelir-gider farkı pozitif çıkmış olup en büyük fark birinci grupta hesaplanmıştır. Çalışılan gruplar arasında en uygun besi başı canlı ağırlığın 24.72 kg olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was investigate the effect of initial Jive weight of male lambs on fattening traits. The gross margin calculations for the groups were also made. Fifty eight male lambs were allocated into three groups and each group consisted of 20, 19 and 19 animals. Initial average live weights of animals were 24.72, 28.01 and 31 .16 kg in groups 1.,11. and III., respectively. The finished lambs were slaughtered at 43 kg live weight. The average fattening periods in the groups were 68.80, 59.47 and 47.00 days respectively. The average daily gains were·found 274.68, 274.66 and 277.75 g. respectively. The differences among the groups for the daily live weight gains were not statistically signifıcant. The average intakes of dry matter per kg of live weight gain in groups were 6.39, 6.9 ,0 and 6.74 kg , respectively.Gross margin calculations were positive in all the groups and it was highest with the first group. It is concluded that 24.72 kg initial live weight was the most profitable among the groups studied.en_US
