dc.description.abstractCinsiyetçilik ile türcülük arasında paralellik kuran bu çalışma, cinsiyet eşitsizliği sorununa kadına bakışın dişi hayvana bakışla belirlendiği tespiti üzerinden yaklaşmayı hedeflemektedir. Bu bağlamda ataerkil kültürde dişi hayvanın ve kadının kayıp bir göndergeye dönüştürülerek cinsel bir politikaya alet olduğuna dikkat çekilmekte ve kadın özgürleşmesinin hayvan problemi aydınlatılmadan gerçekleştirilemeyeceği iddia edilmektedir. Hayvan etinin beslenme alışkanlıklarındaki yerinin ve gerekliliğinin sorgulanması kadın-erkek eşitsizliğinde önemli sonuçlara ulaşmamızı sağlamakta ve kayıp göndergenin dilsel pratiklerde ortaya çıkış sürecini gözler önüne sermektedir. Görülen odur ki ataerkil bakış sadece kadının değil, ondan çok daha öncesinde dişi hayvanın da nesneleştirilmesinden sorumludur. Dahası cinsiyetçiliğin kendisi zaten tam da bu türcü bakış açısının sonuçlarından biri olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu nedenle etik bir talep olarak cinsiyet eşitliğinin, insan dışı hayvanları da kapsayacak bir biçimde tüm canlıların çıkarlarını hesaba katan bir ilkeye ihtiyacı vardır. Zira bu, kültürel miras ve cinsel kimliklerden arınmayı, dilde ve düşünmede yepyeni bir yönelim kazanmayı ve etik alanı insan dışı hayvanlara da açmayı gerektirir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThis study, which establishes a parallel between sexism and speciesism, aims to approach the problem of gender inequality through the conception of woman is determined by the conception of the female animal. In this context, it is pointed out that in the patriarchal culture, the female animal and the woman are transformed into an absent referent and become a tool for sexual policy, and it is claimed that women’s liberation cannot be achieved without clarifying the animal problem. The questioning of the place and necessity of animal meat in dietary habits enables us to achieve important results in the male-female disparity and reveals the process of the appearance of the absent referent in linguistic practices. It is evident that the patriarchal view is responsible for the objectification of not only the woman but also the female animal long before that. Moreover, sexism itself is precisely occurs as a result of speciesism. Therefore, gender equality as an ethical demand needs a principle that takes into account the interests of all living things, including nonhuman animals. In fact, this requires freeing from cultural heritage and sexual identities, gaining a new direction in language and thinking, and opening the ethical field to non-human animals.en_US
