dc.description.abstractVulvovaginal candidiasisi olan 32-36. gebelik haftalarındaki 64 hastada clortrimazole uygulandı. Teşhis kültürler ile konuldu ve hastalara 6 gün, günde 1 tablet clortrimazole ve günde 2 defa vulvalarına sürmek üzere clortrimazole krem verildi. Hastaların eşlerine de clortrimazole krem uygulandı. 62 hastada tedaviden sonra hiçbir şikayet kalmadı. 2 hastada hafif şikayetler kaldı, 4 hastanın tedaviden sonraki kültürlerinde candida üredi. Candida'nın kadın genital organlarındaki varlığı tartışıldı ve Clortrimazole'ün gebelikteki vulvouaginal candidiasiste etkili birantimikotik ajan olduğu sonucuna varıldı.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractSixtyfour gravid women between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy who had vaginal candidiasis were selected to evaluate the effects of chlortrimazole therapy. The diagnosis was confirmed by culture. The patients were given one vaginal tablet daily and cream was applied to the vulva 2 times daily. Their husbands were treated with cream only. The duration of therapy was 6 days. Sixtytwo of these patients were clinically cured after therapy. 2 patients had slight complaints and 4 patients had positive cultures after therapy. The implications of the presence of candida in the genital tract are discussed. It is concluted that chlortrimazole is an effective antimyotic agent which can be used for vulvovaginal candidiasis during pregnancy.en_US
