Kültürel ekolojik kuram ile yeni bir kavram olarak “Ekolojik Performans” Bağlamında Bursa Mesken Semti halkhayatında: Lodos

Abstract

Canlı türleri içinde zekâsıyla farklı bir kategoride yer alan insan, yaşamını sürdürmek için bir yandan ekolojik yapıya uyum sağlamaya diğer yandan değiştirebilecekleri oranında ekolojik yapıya müdahale etmeye çalışmıştır. Ekoloji ile kültür arasındaki dengeyi kurarken gösterdiği ekolojik performans, yaşanan çağın gereklerine göre değişim göstermektedir. Gerek söz konusu dengenin nasıl kurulduğu gerekse insanın bu anlamda gösterdiği ekolojik performansın incelenmesi, toplumların halkhayatlarının araştırılmasıyla mümkündür. Bilim literatüründe 1800 yıllardan itibaren yer almaya başlayan halkhayatı (folklife) Türk halkbiliminde yeterince dikkat çekmemiş bir konudur. Bugüne kadar yapılan çalışmalar, ağırlıklı olarak metin merkezli olup halhayatı kavramını karşılamamakta ve yanlış bir kanaatle halkhayatı; halkın belli dönemlerdeki hayatına dair, metinlerde geçen bilgiler olarak ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmamızda kültürel ergonomik kuramla yeni bir kavram olarak ortaya koyduğumuz ekolojik performans bağlamında, Mesken semtinin halkhayatında varlık gösteren lodos rüzgârı incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızın amacı; bir kuram ve bir sistem dâhilinde halkhayatı konusunda yapılacak çalışmalara örnek teşkil edecek bir çalışma ortaya koymak, halkhayatının halkbilimi disiplini kapsamında çalışılmasının gerekliliğine vurgu yapmaktır.

Man, who is in a different category among living species with his intelligence, has tried to adapt to the ecological structure in order to survive. On the other hand, he has not refrained from intervening in the environmental structure to the extent that he can change it. Its ecological performance while establishing the balance between ecology and culture varies according to the requirements of the age. Examining how the balance in question is established and the ecological performance of humans in this sense is possible by researching the folk lives of societies. Folklife, which started to take place in scientific literature since the 1800s, is a subject that has not received enough attention in Turkish folklore. The studies carried out so far are predominantly text-centered and do not meet the concept of folklife, and they misconstrue the concept of folklife; It is considered as information in the texts about the life of the people in certain periods. In our study, the southwest wind, which is present in the folk life of the Mesken district, was examined in the context of ecological performance, which we introduced as a new concept with cultural ergonomic theory. The purpose of our study; The aim is to present a study that will set an example for studies on folklife within a theory and a system, and to emphasize the necessity of studying folklife within the scope of the discipline of folklore.
