dc.description.abstractGemlik bölgesi ilkokul çocuklarında büyüme ve gelişmenin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla oturma yüksekliği ölçüldü. Boy uzunluğu ile ilişkisi yaşa, cinse ve ekonomik düzeylere göre incelendi. Yaşa bağlı olarak boy arttıkça oturma yüksekliğinin arttığı saptandı. Ortalama değerler benzer araştırma sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırıldı. Sonuçlarımız ülkemizde yapılan araştırmalarla benzerlik gösterirken Amerika'da yapılan araştırmaya göre daha düşük olduğu tespit edildi. Ölçümler sırasında sakatlık durumu araştırıldı. Yöremizde fiziksel sakatlığın sorun olmadığı görüldü.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe sitting heights of primary school children in Gemlik area were measured in order to determine the physical development. The relationship between eight and silting height were investigated according to age, sex and different socio-economical classes. It was found a positive relationship between sitting height and height by the age. Our findings were compared with the similar studies. As a result, there were not differences between our findings and the findings of other studies made in Turkey. There was difference between the findings of USA. and our study. The findings of USA. were higher than our study. During our study, the disability condition was investigated. It was found that physical disabilities were not important health problem in our region.en_US
