Abstract
Bu araştırma sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin, sosyal bilgiler dersinde kullandıkları yöntem-teknikleri belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin yöntem-teknikleri hangi düzeyde kullandıklarını tespit etmek amacı ile 29 maddeden oluşan geçerliği ve güvenirliği (Cronbach α = 0,90) sağlanmış olan “Sosyal Bilgiler Dersinde Kullanılan Yöntem ve Teknikler” anketi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2008-2009 eğitim öğretim yılında Kırşehir il merkezinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya 20 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni, 410 öğrenci ve Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği bölümü 4. sınıf öğrencisi 20 gözlemci katılmıştır. Bu üç farklı gruptan gelen veriler karşılaştırılarak öğretmenlerin kullandığı yöntem ve teknik tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlara göre öğretmenlerin en çok kullandığını belirttiği yöntem ile öğrenci ve gözlemcilerin belirttiği görüşler arasında farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this research is to indicat the methods and technique used by social studies teachers in social studies course. To determine how often the teachers use methods and techniques the questionnaire “method and technique used in social studies course” was used. The questionnaire consisted of 29 items and alpha reliability coefficient was found as 0,90 after the analysis of the test. The study has been carried out in Kırşehir, in 2008- 2009 education year. 20 social studies teachers, 410 students and 20 observers have been participated this study. By comparing data gathered from this three different groups, the most using method and technique by teachers tried to be determined. According to results of the research, it has been indicated that there isn’t any diffrence between the view of students and observers bu there is difference between their and teachers’ views.
