Okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının farklılıklara saygı algılarının anne eğitim düzeyine göre incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; anne eğitim düzeyinin okul öncesi dönem çocuklarının farklılıklara saygı algısı üzerinde anlamlı fark oluşturma durumunu ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Bursa İli Osmangazi İlçesinde bulunan anaokuluna devam eden 40’ı kız, 44’ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 84 beş-altı yaş çocuğu oluşturmaktadır. Genel tarama modelinde yürütülen bu çalışmanın verileri “Farklılıklara Saygı Ölçeği” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Çocukların ölçekten aldıkları puanların frekans ve yüzde dağılımları tablolar halinde sunulmuş olup, anne eğitim düzeyine ilişkin sonuçlar ise ANOVA yöntemi ile test edilmiş ve sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda; çocukların farklılıklara saygı ölçeğinden aldıkları puanların anne eğitim düzeyine göre anlamlı derecede farklılaşmadığı saptanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları ilgili alanyazın kapsamında tartışılmıştır.

This study aims to reveal whether maternal education level makes a significant difference in children’s perception of diversity. The study sample consists of 84 children (40 girls and 44 boys) at the age of 5-6 going to a kindergarten in Osmangazi district of Bursa province. The data of the study conducted using the general survey model were collected through the “The Scale of Respect for Diversities” The research findings as well as frequency and percentage distribution of the scores obtained by the children from the scale were given in tables, and then the results related to maternal education level were presented after being subjected to ANOVA test. The study revealed that the scores obtained by the children from the Respect for Diversity Scale did not differ significantly by maternal education level. The study findings are discussed in the light of the relevant literature.
