Abstract
Intrauterin kontraseptif araç kullanımına bağlı hipermenoresi olan 23 hastada menstruasyon sırasında oral yoldan Epsilon aminocaproic asitten günde 3 defa 2 gr. uygulanmıştır. Bütün haftalarda adet kanamalarının miktarının belirgin olarak azaldığı gözlenmiştir. 4 hastada bulantı, baş ağrısı gibi yan etkiler olduğu saptanmıştır.
Twenty-three women presenting with hipermenorrhea in association with an IUD treated with per oral Epsilon aminocaproic acid, 2 gr three times daily during menstruation. A highly significant reduction in menstrual loss was observed during this treatment in these women. In 4 women taking EACA, side effects as nausea and headache occured.
