Öğrencilerin bakış açısı ile tıp fakültesi eğitimi: I- Eğitim boyutu

Abstract

Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerinin tıp eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanarak bir anket çalışması uygulandı. Öğrencilerin eğitim süresi, geçme notu, öğrenci kontenjanları, verilen dersler ve ders saatlerinin yeterlik düzeyi hakkındaki düşünceleri araştırıldı. Anket, yeni bir öğretim yılının başlangıcında uygulanarak bir önceki yıldaki eğitim sorgulandı. Öğrencilerin çoğunluğunun uygulanmakta olan eğitim sisteminden hoşnut olmadıkları, günümüze kadar geçen süre içinde teorik ve pratik açıdan yeterli eğitim almadıklarına inandıkları görüldü. Öğrenciler, bazı derslerin gereksiz olduğunu bildirirken; bazılarının süresinin değiştirilmesini, bazı derslerin de eklenmesini istediler.

A questionnaire was given out to the medical students of Uludag University to inquire their opinions about medical education. The investigated subjects were their thoughts about total education terms, marks which they have to get to pass the exams, student admissions, subjects of the given lectures and the level of sufficiency of lecture hours. The questionnaire was applied just at the beginning of the new educational year and the data of the passed year was investigated. It was found that the majority of the students were not satisfied with the educational system applied at the faculty and they believed that theoretical and practical knowledge given to them was insufficient. They have pointed out the uselessness of some subjects completely while they wanted the change of the lecture hours for the same disciplines. According to them it is better that some pictures of new subjects have to be added to the curriculum.
