Nörolojik açıdan paraneoplastik sendromlar

Abstract

Günümüzde kanserli hastalarda erken tanı, tedavi edilebilirlik yönünden önem taşımaktadır. Paraneoplastik sendromlar ya da uzak etki sendromlar % 50 oranında kanser teşhisinden önce belirti vermektedir. Bu çalışmada, çeşitli kanser olgularının metastatik olmayan komplikasyonlarının görülme sıklığı ve tespit edilen malignite türü ile ilişkisini saptamak amacıyla çeşitli kliniklerde malignite tespit edilen 34 olgu ele alınmış ve sonuçlar literatür ışığı altında değerlendirilmiştir.

Today, the early diagnosis of cancer is important in regard to treatment. Paraneoplastic syndromes or remote effect syndromes can be detected in 50 % of the patients before the diagnosis of the cancer. In this study, in order to determine the frequency of this condition and the relationship between the detected cancer type and the non-metastatic complications in various cancer patients, 34 cancer cases from different clinics were reviewed and the results were discussed in the light of literature.
