dc.description.abstractSon yıllarda Bilgi Teknolojilerine (BT) işletmeler gittikçe artan miktarlarda yatırım yapmakta ve bu yatırımların yapılma sürecinin etkin ve verimli yönetimi, işletmeler için önemli bir unsur olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Weill ve Broadbent (1999) ve Mintzberg (1989) oluşturduğu teorik altyapılarına anılarak, iki firma üzerinde bir örnek olay çalışması yapılmış ve her iki firmanın BT yatırım süreci karar verme sürecini yöntemleri ve üst yönetimin bu süreçteki rolü irdelenmiştir ve karşılaştırılmıştır. Ayrı , firmaların karakteristiklerine ve özel şartlarına göre, en etkin BT yatımı yönetme süreçleri ve üst yönetimin alması gereken rol ve uygulamaya yönelik çıkarımlar yapılmıştır.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn the recent years, amount of investments to Information Technologies (IT) has been considerably increased in organizations; hence, the effective management of IT investments has become an important aspect of every organization. In this study, the theoretical frameworks proposed by Weill and Broadbent (1999) and Mintzberg (1989) have been used to assess IT investment decision making management process and top management involvement in two real life organizations in a case study. The IT management process and the top management involvement in two organizations have been compared and contrasted and the practical implications as well as ideal top management 's role in the process lıave been discussed.en_US
