Abstract
III. ventrikülün kolloid kistleri benign tümörlerdir. Bütün beyin tümörlerinin % 0.5'ini içerirler. Benign natürde olmalarına rağmen III. ventriküldeki lokalizasyonları dolayısıyla unilateral veya bilateral Foramen Monro 'da blok yapmalarıyla intrakranial basınç artma bulgularına sebep olabilirler. Komputerize tomografi ile tanımlanan ve total olarak transkallozal girişim ile çıkarılan bir vaka takdim edildi.
Colloid cyst are benign tumours of the third ventricle and comprise only 0.5 % of all brain tumours. Although they are benign in nature they may nevertheless give symptoms by blocking the Foramen Monro unilaterally or bilaterally and cause increased pressure signs because of their location in the third ventricle. We are presenting a case which was diagnosed by computerized tomography and operated and removed completely by transcollosal approach.
