dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, tam öğrenme yönteminin ilköğretim 6.sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik dersindeki başarı ve kalıcılık düzeylerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla araştırma, İstanbul ili, Avrupa yakasındaki bir ilköğretim okulunun 6. sınıfında öğrenim gören toplam 70 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma deneme modelinde olup 6.sınıf “Kesirlerin Ondalık Gösterimi” ünitesi boyunca devam etmiştir. Kontrol grubunda dersler geleneksel öğrenme yöntemi ile anlatılırken deney grubuna tam öğrenme yöntemi ile anlatılmıştır. Araştırma başlamadan önce deney ve kontrol gruplarına ön test uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda her iki gruba “Matematik Başarı Testi” son test verilmiştir. Aynı test kalıcılık testi olarak yeniden kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler istatistiksel analiz yöntemi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Her iki gruba uygulanan başarı ön test-son test ve kalıcılık t-testi sonuçları, tam öğrenme yönteminin kullanıldığı deney grubunda, matematik başarısı ve kalıcılık düzeyinin kontrol grubuna göre daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mastery learning method on the achievement and retention level of 6th grade primary school students. For this purpose, the research were conducted in two 6th grade classes which have 70 students in the Europe side of Istanbul. The research was in the form of a trial model and continued during the teaching of the mathematics unit “decimal expression of fraction” in the 6 th grade. The lesson in the experimental group were carried out in the mastery learning method while the lessons for the control group were carried out in the traditional teaching method. At the beginning of the study, the experimental and control groups were given preliminary test. At the end of the study, both groups were given a “Mathematics Achievement Test” post test. This test was used again as a retention test. The result have been examined using a statistics program. The results of the t-test - the preliminary test, the post test and the retention test - that was applied to both groups showed that the using mastery learning in the experiment group resulted in greater achievement in the mathematics and retention test level of the students as compared with the control group.en_US
