Müzik ve dansın Grek kutsal törenleri ve yaşamındaki önemi

Abstract

Tarih boyunca müzik ve dans, hemen hemen bütün topluluklarda ve kadim dinlerde kutsal törenlere eşlik ederek katılımcıların duygu dünyasını etkilemiş, böylece kendinden geçmesini ve bir nevi Tanrı’ya ulaşmalarını sağlamıştır. Aynı zamanda kutsal törenlerde dans ve müziğin kullanılması bireyler arasında bir bağ kurarak bireyi yaşadığı toplumun bir parçası hâline getirmiş, bu yönüyle bireyde aidiyet duygusunu pekiştirerek sosyalleşmesini sağlamıştır. Tüm kültürlerde olduğu gibi müzik ve dans, Greklerin mitoloji ve felsefesinde de yer edinerek onların sosyal yaşantılarını etkilemiştir. Bu yönüyle güçlü bir metafor özelliği taşımaktadır. Greklerde müzik ve dansın tanrılara dayandırılması ve kutsal törenlerde kullanılması topluluklar üzerinde güçlü bir etki yaratmış ve kutsallık sağlamıştır. Ayrıca müzik ve dans, eğlence ve symposionların vazgeçilmez unsurları olmuştur. Bu makalede, Greklerde toplum ve birey ilişkisinde müzik ve dansın yeri, kutsal törenlerdeki rolü ve sosyal yaşantıdaki önemi incelenmiştir.Throughout history, music and dance have influenced the emotional world of the participants by accompanying rituals in almost all communities and ancient religions, thus allowing them to pass out and reach God in a way. At the same time, the use of dance and music in rituals has made the individual a part of the society he/she lives in by establishing a bond between individuals, and in this respect, it has reinforced the sense of belonging in the individual and enabled him/her to socialize. As in all cultures, music and dance took place in the mythology and philosophy of the Greeks and affected their social lives. In this respect, it has a strong metaphor feature. In the Greeks, the attribution of music and dance to the gods and their use in rituals had a strong impact on communities and provided holiness. In addition, music and dance have been indispensable elements of entertainment and symposiums. In this article, the place of music and dance in the relationship between society and the individual in the Greeks, their role in rituals and their importance in social life are examined.
