| dc.description.abstract | İnsanlar genellikle temel fizyolojik ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için tüketirler. Fakat, tüketim çağı olarak nitelendirilen günümüzde, bireyler, toplum içerisinde kendilerine daha iyi bir konum edinebilmek ve başkalarını etkilemek amacıyla olduğundan farklı görünmeye çalışırlar. Thorstein Veblen tarafından Aylak Sınıfın Teorisi adlı yapıtta ele alınan Gösterişçi Tüketim kavramı, bazı bireylerin, üst sınıflara ait olduklarını, varsıllık içinde yaşadıklarını ve yer aldıkları toplum içerisinde ayrıcalıklı olduklarını kanıtlamaya yönelik yapılan tüketim olarak açıklanır. Gösterişçi tüketim kavramının yansımalarını, günümüz Fransız kadın yazarlar arasında yer alan Anna Gavalda’nın Bir Aradayız, Hepsi Bu (Ensemble, C’est Tout) adlı romanında bulmak olanaklıdır. Gavalda, günlerce çok satanlar arasında kalmayı başaran romanında, Paris’te bir apartman dairesini paylaşmak zorunda kalan ve dünya görüşleri birbirinden farklı üç gencin ve bir büyükannenin yaşamını konu alır. Bu çalışmada da, bireyin sadece varsıllığını göstermek, sosyal yaşantısında saygınlık kazanmak amacıyla satın aldığı insan hayatının bile önüne geçen nesnelerin verdiği mutluluk ve bu nesnelerin topluma yabancılaştırdığı bireyler söz konusu yapıtta irdelenecektir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | Les gens consomment en général pour satisfaire leurs besoins. Mais, aujourd’hui, connu comme l’ère de consommation, les individus essayent de paraître différents de ce qu’ils sont, pour obtenir une bonne position dans la société. La notion de consommation ostentatoire, étudiée par Thorstein Veblen dans le livre intitulé Théorie de la Classe de Loisir, est expliqué comme une consommation qui est faite par les gens pour prouver qu’ils vivent dans la richesse et qu'ils sont privilégiés dans la société. C’est possible de trouver les réflexions de la notion de consommation ostentatoire dans le livre intitulé Ensemble, C’est Tout d’Anna Gavalda qui se situe parmi les femmes écrivaines françaises de nos jours. Gavalda raconte la vie de trois jeunes et d’une grand-mère qui ont des visions du monde différentes, dans son roman qui reste dans les “Meilleures ventes” pendant des jours. Dans cet article, on examinera le bonheur fourni par les objets achetés par l’homme pour montrer sa richesse et pour obtenir le respect dans sa vie sociale de même que les individus aliénés par ces objets. | fr |
| dc.description.abstract | Human beings in general consume in order to meet their basic physiological needs. However, in these days which are described as the consumption era, individuals try to false pretence so as to gain a better position in the society and to impress others. The concept of conspicuous consumption that is discussed in the work named The Theory Of The Leisure Class by Thorstein Veblen, is defined as the consumption directed to prove that same individuals belong to the upper-classes, that they live in wealthiness and that they have a precedence within the society they are in. It is possible to find the echoings of the concept of conspicuous consumption in one of today’s French woman writers, Anna Gavalda’s novel called Hunting and Gathering. Gavalda narrates the lives of three youngs and a grandmother who share an apartman in Paris. In this article, the happiness given by the objects that even get ahead to the human life, which the individual purchases only to show his affluence, to earn respect in his social life and the individuals whom these subjects alienated to the society are to be examined in the work that is being talked about. | en_US |
