Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Türk Edebiyatı tarihi, kültürü, sosyolojisi için önemli çalışmalara imza atan Ziya Gökalp'ın, çocuklar için yazdığı masalları, bugünün öğrencilerine kazandırılmak istenen kök değerler çerçevesinde incelemektir. 1900'lerin başında çocuklara değerlerimizi kazandırma hedefi ile ortaya çıkan Altın Işık ve Kızılelma kitaplarında yer alan 16 masal bugünün çocuklarına değerler eğitiminde kullanılabilirliği göstermek amacıyla içerdiği kök değerler belirlenmiştir. Söz konusu olan kök değerler; adalet, dostluk, dürüstlük, öz denetim, sabır, saygı, sevgi, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik ve yardımseverliktir. Ayrıca diğer değerler başlığında masallarda yer alan diğer değerler belirlenmiştir. Bunlar evrensel değerler, dini değerler ve milli değerler başlıkları altında toplanmıştır. Evrensel değerler; demokrasi ve kadın-erkek eşitliğidir. Dini değerler; affedici olmak, Allah inancı, dua etmek, İslam’ı yaymak, Müslüman olmak, peygamber sevgisi ve ümit var olmaktır. Milli değerler ise; bayrak sevgisi, cesaretli olmak, çalışkanlık, dil bilinci, eğitim-ilim sahibi olmak, hürriyet, özgürlük ve Türklük bilinci, milli bilinç değerleridir. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde değerler eğitimi, masal hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Ziya Gökalp'ın hayatı, değerler eğitimi ile ilgili çalışmalarına yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde araştırmanın yöntemi belirlenmiştir. Gökalp'ın masalları nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. İncelenen masallar Gökalp'ın Altın Işık ve Kızılelma kitaplarında yer alan 16 masaldır. Bu masallar kök değerler ve diğer değerlerin yer alması bakımından incelenerek çözümlenmiştir. Bu masallarda değerlere aleni veya örtük olarak yer verdiği tespit edilmiş ve değerler eğitimi açısından incelenmiştir. Son bölümde çalışmanın sonuçlarına yer verilmiştir. Ziya Gökalp’ın halk ağzından duyup kendi fikri dünyasına göre yeniden yorumladığı masalları kök değerlerin ve diğer değerlerin yer alması bakımından yeterli bulunmuştur. Pedagog, çocuk gelişimi uzmanı gibi alanın yetkinisimlerinin değerlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu değerlendirme sonucu yeterli bulunan masalların ortaöğretim kurumlarında yer verilmesi önerilmiştir.
The main purpose of this study is to examine the fairy tales written for children by Ziya Gökalp, who made important studies on the history, culture and sociology of Turkish Literature, within the framework of the root values that are intended to be imparted to today's students. The root values contained in the 16 tales in the books Golden Light and Red Apple, which were published in the early 1900s with the aim of imparting our values to children, were determined in order to show their usability in values education for today's children. The root values in question are; justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, respect, love, responsibility, patriotism and helpfulness. In addition, other values in the fairy tales were determined under the title of other values. These are grouped under the headings of universal values, religious values and national values. Universal values; democracy and equality between men and women. Religious values; being forgiving, belief in Allah, praying, spreading Islam, being a Muslim, love of the prophet and being hopeful. National values are; These are the values of love for the flag, being courageous, hard work, language awareness, having education and knowledge, freedom, freedom and Turkish consciousness.In the first part of the study, general information about values education and fairy tales is given. Ziya Gökalp's life and his works on values education are included. In the second chapter, the method of the research was determined. Gökalp's tales were examined using the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. The tales examined are 16 tales in Gökalp's books Altın Işık and Kızılelma. These tales were examined and analyzed in terms of their root values and other values. It has been determined that these tales include values explicitly or implicitly, and they have been examined in terms of values education. The last section includes the results of the study. The tales that Ziya Gökalp heard from the public and reinterpreted according to his own intellectual world were found sufficient in terms of including the root values and other values. Competent figures in the field such as pedagogues and child development specialists should be evaluated. As a result of this evaluation, it was recommended that the fairy tales found sufficient be included in secondary education institutions.
