Abstract

Konfüçyüsçülüğün kutsal metinleri Beş Klasik ve Dört Kitap olarak bilinen eski kitaplardır. Beş Klasik: Tarihi Dökümanlar Kitabı, Şiirler Kitabı, Değişiklikler Kitabı, Âyinler Kitabı ve İlkbahar ve Sonbahar Vekâyinameleri’nden ibarettir. Dört Kitap ise: Konfüçyüs’ün Konuşmaları, Mensiyüs’ün Kitabı, Büyük Bilgi ve Orta Yol Doktrini’dir. Bu eserler idareci bir sınıfın eğitiminin temelini oluşturmuş ve devlet memurlarının memuriyete alındıkları sınavlarda da esas kabul edilmiştir.

Scriptures in Confucianism are the ancient books known as the Five King and the Four Shu. The Five King are: the Book of Historical Documents , the Book of Odes or Poetry, the Book of Changes, the Book of Rites, and the Spring and Autumn Annals. The Four Shu are: the Analects of Confucius, the Works of Mencius, the Great Learning and the Doctrine of the Mean. These Works formed the basis of the education of a ruling class and the set texts of the examinations by which the bureaucracy was recruited.
