Abstract

Histadrut birçok bakımdan tek örgüttür. Histadrutu tek örgüt yapan geniş ekonomik faaliyetlere ve güçlü sendikacılığa dayanmasıdır. Histadruta bütün kooperatifler ve Histadrutun doğrudan doğruya sahip olduğu kuruluşlar dahildir. Histadrut başlangıcından beri sadece dar anlamda bir sendika değil, aynı zamanda geleneksel sendikaların ötesinde pek çok görevi yerine getiren bir kuruluştur.

The Histadrut isa unique organization, in many respects. Unique to the Histadrut is the coexistence of powerful and virtually all-embracing trade union wing and extensive set of economic activities. The economic seetar of the Histadrut consists of all co-operatives and the socalled administrative economy-which is directly owned by the Histadrut. From the very begining, The Histadrut wasnot a trade union in the narrow sense of the term, but an institution which fulfilled many tasks beyond those of traditional trade unions.
