Abstract
Bu makale, Dördüncü Sanayi Devrimi’nin istihdam üzerine etkisini işgücü piyasasında var olan toplumsal cinsiyet eşitsizliği çerçevesinde incelemektedir. Bu incelemeyi de istihdamın sektörlere ve mesleklere göre dağılımı, cinsiyetlere göre eğitim ve beceri farklılıkları, dijital cinsiyet ayrımı ve dijital platformlardaki kadın istihdamı ekseninde yapmaktadır. Tüm sanayi devrimlerinde olduğu gibi Dördüncü Sanayi Devrimi de kaçınılmaz olarak kadın istihdamını derinden etkileyecektir. Sorun; bu etkinin kadınlar açısından bir tehdit mi yoksa fırsat mı olacağı ve tehdidin fırsata nasıl dönüştürüleceğidir. Günümüzde tehdidin fırsata dönüştürülmesini sağlamak amacıyla devletler, özel sektör ve Sivil Toplum Kuruluşları (STK) tarafından çeşitli faaliyetler yapılmakta ve öneriler getirilmektedir. Makalede bu faaliyetlere ve önerilere de kısaca değinilecektir.
This article aims to examine the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on employment within the framework of gender inequality in the labor market, discussing the distribution of employment by sectors and occupations, education and skill differences by gender, digital gender divide and women's employment on digital platforms. As in all industrial revolutions, the Fourth Industrial Revolution will inevitably have a profound effect on women's employment. The main issue nowadays is, whether this effect will be a threat or an opportunity for women and how possible threats will be transformed into opportunity. This transformation is carried out by various activities realized by states, private sector and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), furthermore suggestions are made. These activities and suggestions will also be briefly mentioned in this article.
