Abstract
1982 yılı Ekim - 1984 yılı Ekim ayları içinde 274 hasta Reanimasyon Ünitesinde tedavi görmüş, 191 hasta (% 69. 7) şifa ile taburcu edilmiş, 9 hasta (% 3.3) vejetatif durumda kliniklere gönderilmiş, 74 hasta (% 27) ise kaybedilmiştir. Tedavi gören en büyük grubu 120 hasta ile (% 43.8) zehirlenmeler oluşturmakta ve bu grupta şifa oranı da en yüksek bulunmaktadır. Exitusla sonuçlanan gruplar ameliyat sonrası solunum yetmezliği, kafa travmaları ile serebro vasküler olaylar geçiren hastalardan oluşmaktadır. Yirmidört saatle 1 hafta içinde ventilatör tedavisi gören hastalarda şifa oranı en yüksektir. Oysa ventilatörde kalma süresi uzadıkça beslenme problemleri, solunum yetmezliği ve sepsise neden olup ölüme yol açmaktadır.
In a series 274 patients treated in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit, 191 patients (69. 7 percent) had realized good recovery, 9 patients (3.3 percent) were in vegetative status and 74 patients (27 percent) were died. 120 acute poisoned patients were the largest group which highest percentage of healthy outcome. The fatal group, however, included the patients who had postoperative respiratory insufficiency and head injury. High outcome scale were recorded on the patients who were kept on ventilatory therapy during a week. Whenever the ventilatory support was exceeded this period, the lack of nutrition, respiratory insufficiency and sepsis led a fatal outcome.
