| dc.description.abstract | Menisküs yırtıklarında daha önce genellikle menisküs çıkarımı uygulanmakta iken günümüzde özellikle genç hastalarda mümkünse tamir etmek ve iyileşmelerini sağlamak altın standart haline gelmiştir. Ancak onarım ve konservatif tedavinin mümkün olmadığı durumlarda, parsiyel veya total menisküs çıkarımı hala uygulanabilmektedir. Menisküs çıkarımı uygulanmış dizde dejeneratif artritin hızla geliştiği fark edildikçe menisküsleri replase etmenin yolları aranmaya başlanmıştır. Günümüzde allogreft meniskal transplantlar bu amaçla kullanılmaktadır. Bu derlemede; menisküslerin özellikleri, menisküs çıkarımının doğal seyri, menisküs allogreft transplantasyonunun günümüzdeki durumu ele alınmıştır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | In meniscal tears, Menisectomy was usually performed in the past. Currently, the gold standard of care for meniscal disorder emphasizes that a meniscal tear should be repaired when possible, with certain tears being allowed to heal, particularly in younger individuals. However, partial and total menisectomies are still necessary when repair or nonoperative treatment is not possible. As degeneratif arthritis was realised to progress rapidly in menisectomised knee; the ways of replacing menisci were investigated. Currently, meniscal allograft transplantation is used for this purpose. In this paper, the properties of menisci, natural history of menisectomi and current status of meniscal allograft transplantation were reviewed. | en_US |
