| dc.description.abstract | Fen öğretimine teknoloji ve mühendislik alanlarının entegre edilmesi ve bu doğrultuda güncellenen fen öğretim programında mühendislik uygulamalarına yer verilmesi mühendislik tasarım sürecini ön plana çıkarmıştır. Bu kapsamda mühendislik alanı öğretim üyelerinin mühendislik tasarım sürecinin basamakları ile ilgili görüşleri ve bu sürecin ortaokul öğrencilerine öğretilmesi hakkındaki görüşleri alınmıştır. Ayrıca ortaokul öğrencileri için kullanılabilecek bir Mühendislik Tasarım Süreci modeli geliştirmek ve pedagojik önerilerde bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma için mühendislik bölümü öğretim üyelerine telefon, mail ve doğrudan görüşmeler yoluyla ulaşılmış ve çalışmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan yedi mühendislik bölümü öğretim üyesi ile çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Mühendislik bölümü öğretim üyelerinin mühendislik tasarım sürecinin basamakları hakkındaki görüşlerini ve tasarım sürecini ortaokul öğrencilerine öğretme noktasındaki görüş ve önerilerini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde temellendirilmiş kuramdan yararlanılmıştır. Bu analizler sonucunda ortaokul öğrencilerinin kullanabileceği bir mühendislik tasarım süreci modeli ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Geliştirilen mühendislik tasarım süreci modelinin ve bu modelin kullanımı ile ilgili pedagojik önerilerin bu yeniliğe adapte olan öğretmenlere ve mühendislik ve tasarım becerisi kazanması beklenen öğrencilere rehber bir rol üstleneceği düşünülmektedir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.abstract | The integration of technology and engineering fields in science teaching and the updating of the science curriculum in this direction has given engineering design process a priority. In this context, the opinions of engineering faculty members about the steps of the engineering design process and teaching this process to middle school students were investigated. In addition, it is aimed to develop a model of Engineering Design Process which can be used for middle school students and to make pedagogical suggestions. For the research, seven volunteer faculty members of the engineering department at Uludag University were reached by the phone, the e-mail and face to face. Semi-structured interviews were held with the aim of revealing the views of engineering faculty members on the steps of the engineering design process and on teaching the design process to secondary school students. In the analysis of the data obtained from the interviews, the components of grounded theory were used. As a result of these analyzes, an engineering design process model was developed that could be used by middle school students. It is thought that the engineering design process model that was developed and the pedagogical suggestions about it has the potential to guide the science teachers adopting the reform and the students that were expecting to gain the skills and engineering and design. | en_US |
