Tanpınar’da sonsuzluk

Abstract

Tanpınar, sanat anlayışını, estetiğini kurarken üzerinde durduğu en önemli kavramlardan biri “sonsuzluk”tur. O, sanatta sonsuzluğa ulaşmanın çaresini mükemmellikte bulur. Paul Valery ve Yahya Kemal”den etkilenir. Ona göre sanattaki mükemmellik ancak sonsuzluğun hayalini verir ve insanın içindeki derin özleyişi hiçbir zaman gidermez. Bir yazar olarak bunu fark eden Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, hayal yoluyla sonsuzluğa ulaşmak ister.

The concept “eternity” is one of the most important concepts of which Tanpınar considered seriously as he constituting his own conception of aesthetics and of art. Getting to eternity is possible only for him within perfection. He was influenced by Paul Valery and Yahya Kemal. According to him, the perfection in art gives only the image of eternity and never stops the deep yearning of human’s spirit. Ahmed Hamdi Tanpınar as an author who realizes this fact wants to reach the eternity by the way of imagination.
