Abstract
Tiroid bezi nodülleri, tiroid hastalıkları içinde sık olarak görülen normal dışı morfolojik yapılardır. Bu nodüller malignite oluşması yönünden önem taşımaktadırlar. Yapılan çeşitli çalışmalarda US ve sintigrafik incelemeler ile tiroid bezi volümleri hesaplamıştır. Bazı araştırıcılar tarafından bu incelemelerin tiroid bezinin gerçek volümüne yakın değerleri saptamada yardımcı olabileceği gösterilmiştir. Çalışmamızda tiroid bezi nodüllerin boyutları Tc99 m, I 131 sintigrafileri ve US inceleme ile ölçülmüş ve nodüllerin volümleri hesaplanmıştır. Her üç incelemede elde edilen boyutlar ve hesaplanan volümler arasında farklılık olmadığı saptanmıştır.
Thyroid gland nodules are seen frequently among the thyroid diseases that are abnormal morphologic structure. This nodules takes parts special importance for malignancy formation. Thyroid gland volumes accounted by US and scintigraphic research in some studies. Some authors point out that this investigations can be help confirming real volume of thyroid gland. In this study thyroid gland nodules size measured by Tc 99m and I 131 scintigraphy and US investigation. lt is founded that there is no difference this three methods for accounting nodules size and volumes.
