dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada Stoik ahlak öğretisinin insanın ruhsal sağaltımı üzerine olası katkıları, manevi danışmanlık alanı bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. Makale boyunca, kendilik bilinci, ölüm, mutluluk getirici özelliğiyle erdem, arzuların sınırlandırılması, acıyla baş etme yöntemleri, ruhsal dinginlik, kozmopolitist yaklaşım, doğaya uygun yaşama, kader inancı, şimdi ve burada olma, acıya ilişkin rasyonel düşünebilme, insana dair iyicil yaklaşım gibi konular üzerine Stoik filozofların düşünceleri açımlanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda bireylerin manevi inançlarının onlarda bir değişim motivasyonu olarak etkinleştirilebileceği kabulünden hareketle Stoik metinlerin manevi danışmanlık açısından bir kaynak olarak ele alınmasının imkânı tartışılmaktadır. Bu makalede günümüz Türkiye’sinde kurumsallaşma yolunda olan manevi danışmanlık alanından çok daha önceleri Stoa Okulu’nun kendine has yöntemlerle yürüttüğü insana rehberlik edici uygulamaların olduğu öne sürülmektedir ve ağırlıklı olarak son dönem Stoacılığı üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bu bağlamda felsefenin sosyal hayattaki yeri, insana dair sorunların temelden halledilmesine ilişkin getirdiği çözümler irdelenmektedir. Stoik düşün evreninde oldukça önemli yere sahip olan doğaya uygun eyleme, erdem eksenli yaşama, çeşitli manevi egzersizlerle yol alma gibi temel prensipler aracılığıyla bulunan bu çözümler manevi danışmanlık alanı için de umut vericidir.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the possible contributions of the Stoic moral doctrine on the mental healing of people are discussed in the context of spiritual counseling. Throughout the article, the Stoic philosophers will focus on issues such as self-consciousness, death, virtue, limitation of desires, methods of coping with pain, spiritual serenity, cosmopolitan approach, living in accordance with nature, belief in fate, being here and now, rational thinking about pain, benevolent approach to human beings. In this direction, starting from the acceptance that the spiritual beliefs of individuals can be activated as a motivation for change, the possibility of considering Stoic texts as a source of spiritual counseling is discussed. In this article, it is argued that the Stoa School had guiding practices that it carried out with its own methods and the emphasis is on recent stoicism. In this context, the place of philosophy in social life and the solutions it brings to solve human problems from the ground up are examined. It is promising for this spiritual counseling field, which has basic principles such as action in accordance with nature, life based on virtue, and progress with various spiritual exercises, which have a very important place in the universe of stoic thought.en_US
