Tasavvuf kültürünün Türkistan macerasına genel bakış

Abstract

Kültür ve medeniyet tarihimizin temel unsurlarından biri olan tasavvuf, Türkistan bölgesiyle de yakından ilgilidir. Hicretten kısa bir süre sonra bu bölge islam ile tanışmış ve bu dinin Kur’an-ı Kerim’den sonra ikinci önemli kaynağı olan eserin yazarı Buharî’yi (öl. 256) yetiştirmiştir. Tasavvuf dünyasının önemli şahsiyetlerine de zemin teşkil eden Türkistan, Türklerin müslüman olmasından sonra Ahmed-i Yesevî ile Türk tasavvuf edebiyatının ilk büyük dervişlerini de yetiştirmiştir. Bu yazıda sözkonusu bölgede varolan Yesevî kültürü incelenecek ve bu topraklar ile Anadolu arasındaki kültürel alışverişler mercek altına alınacaktır.

Tasawwuf, which is one of the essential elements of our history of civilization and culture, has close ties with Turkestan. Shortly after the Hicrah, this region met Islam and raised some prominent scholars such as Bukhari (d. 256) whose Sahih is considered to be the second only to the Qur’an. Turkestan has been home for some significant personalities of the world of Tasawwuf as well. After Turks converted to Islam, Turkestan produced the first great dervish of the literature of the Turkish tasawwuf: Ahmad Yasawî. The aim of this article then is to 1 )examine the Yasawî cutrure; 2) explore the cultural exchanges between Turkestan and Anatolia.
