Türkiye'de koyunlarda adenovirus enfeksiyonu üzerinde araştırmalar

Abstract

Previously isolated ovine adenovirus type 5 (OA5 ) was adapted and propagated in the primary and secondary tissue cultures of calf testicular epithelium, to primary cultures of calf renal epithelium, and MDBK cell cultures. Neutralizing antibodies against this virus were found in 22.29 % of blood sera obtained from 700 sheep coming from different parts of Turkey. The concentration of neutralizing antibodies was ranging from 1/3.98 to 1/431.6 when the positive sera was titrated. These results suggested that tha adenovirus infections by OA5 in sheep in Turkey are remarkably frequently detectable and this requires the same measurements and special care before it is too Iate.Türkiye'de izole edilmiş bulunan koyun adenovirus tip 5 (OA5 ), primer ve sekonder dana testis ile primer dana böbrek epitel hücre kültürleri ve MDBK (Madin Darby Bovine Kidney) hücre kültürüne adapte edilmiş ve bu hücrelerde üretilmiştir. Türkiye 'de çeşitli yörelerden 700 koyundan toplanan kan serumları üzerinde yapılan nötralizasyon testiyle, koyunlarda bu virüse karşı % 22.29 oranında nötralizan antikor bulunduğu ve pozitif nötralizasyon veren serumların 1/3.98 1/431.6 değerleri arasında değişen nötralizan antikor kapsadığı saptanmıştır. Bu sonuçlar koyunlarda bu virüs ile oluşan enfeksiyonun Türkiye'de yaygın olduğunu göstermektedir.
