Abstract
U.Ü. Veteriner Fakültesi Cerrahi Kliniğine getirilen bir köpekte, oesophagus'un cervical bölümünde, 15 gün önce yutulan bir vertebranın neden olduğu obstriksiyon saptanmıştır. Radyolojik olarak tanısı konulan yabancı cisim, inhalasyon anestezi ile uygulanan oesophagotomie operasyonu ile uzaklaştırılmış, 1 haftalık postoperatif bakım ve i.v. besleme sonrası tam bir iyileşme sağlanmıştır. Yabancı cismin bir koyuna ait 4x3x3 cm. boyutlarında cervical bir vertebra olduğu anlaşılmıştır.

Foreign body with radiological examen had been discovered which have gotten out of the way by oesophagotomy with inhalation anaesthesia, than excellent recovery obtained after one week postoperative maintenance and i.v. alimentation.This foreign body concerned to the sheep, which have seen 4x3x3 cm. to dimension of this cervical vertebra.
