Abstract
Bu çalışmada brakial pleksus lezyonu olan 382 olgu elektronöromyografik muayene ile incelenmiştir. Servikal kök basısı, torasik çıkış sendromu ve travmatik pleksus lezyonu olan 207 hasta çalışma dışı bırakılmıştır. Diğer 175 hastada nörolojik muayene ve elektronoromyografik anormaliteler brakial pleksus tutulmasını göstermiştir. Etiyolojik faktörler bilinmediğinden bu olgulara idiopatik brakial pleksus nöropatisi (IBPN) tanısı konmuştur. Çalışmanın sonuçları literatür bulgularının ışığında tartışılmıştır. BPN üzerindeki daha kapsamlı çalışmaların BP hastalıklarındaki problemlerin çözümü için yararlı olacağı sonucuna varılmıştır.
In this study 382 cases with brachial plexus lesions have been investigated by means of ENMG examination. 207 patients who had cervical root compression, thoracic outlet syndrome and traumatic plexus lesions were excluded from the study. In other 175 patient's neurologic examination and ENMG ic abnormalities indicated that the brachial plexus was involved. · Because of the unknown etiologic factors these cases were diagnosed as idiopathic brachial plexus neuropathy (IBPN). The results of this study were discussed under the light of the literature findings.As a result, it was concluded that more comprehensive studies on the BPN would be useful for solving the problems in this area.
