Abstract
Bu çalışmada geniş kapsamlı doğa yasaları tanımlanmış ve onların iki grup altında sınıflanabilecekleri ifade edilmiştir. Bu tip yasaların bir grubunu oluşturan korunum ilkelerinden tanınmış olanları Özet halinde verilmişlerdir. Diğer gruptaki minimal ilkeleri tarihsel akış içinde ele alınarak önce optikteki en kısa yol ve Fermat'ın en kısa zaman ilkeleri, ardından mekanikteki Maupertuis ilkesi açıklanmıştır. Bu konudaki gelişmelerin nihai hali olan Hamilton ilkesi veya diğer adıyla En Az Eylem İlkesi fiziksel ve matematiksel terim ve sembollerden mümkün olduğu kadar kaçınılarak ve temel fikirler ön plana çıkarılmaya çalışılarak irdelenmiştir. Şimdiye kadar edinilen tüm gözlemsel, deneysel ve kuramsal bilgilere göre En Az Eylem İlkesi doğanın, her türlü koşul altında geçerli olan, geniş kapsamlı en temel yasalarından biridir.
In this study we discuss the minimal principles in physics in general, and the least action principle in detail. Minimal principles form the one of two groups of overall nature laws. The other group contains conservation principles. Some of the well known conservation principles are explained shortly. Minimal principles are discussed in chronological order: first we explain the shortest path, and Fermat's least time principles in optics, then Maupertuis principle in mechanics. The ultimate form of the least action principle, Hamilton's principle is explained with all of its conceptional details, avoiding the usage of physical and mathematical terms and symbols as much as possible. According to all todays empirical and theoretical knowledge, the least action principle is one of the most fundamental and overall laws of nature.
