XVII. yüzyılda melâmî şeyhlerinden Sunullah Gaybî’nin bakışı ile tarîkat âdâbı

Abstract

XII. Tasavvufî terbiyede önemli bir yer teşkil eden âdâb konusu, tarîkata girişin ardından manevî yolculuk sürecinde uyulması gereken kurallar, mürşid ve ihvâna karşı göz önünde bulundurulması istenen tavırları ifade etmiştir. Bu manada dervişlere yol gösteren tavsiyeler âdâb ve erkân başlığı altında ya müstakil risâleler halinde veya tasavvufa dair genel bilgiler veren eserlerin içinde bir bölüm olarak ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Osmanlı döneminde etkin bir rol oynayan Bayramî-Melâmîliği’nin temsilcilerinden Sunullah Gaybî’nin konuya bakışını ortaya koymak ve adâb açısından bu anlayış ile diğer tarikatlar arasındaki benzerliği veya farklılığı göstermektir.

Manners (âdâb), which occupied an important place in the sufi training, refers to the rules to conform during the spiritual journey, and the desired attitudes toward to sheikh and brethren. So, these guiding principals for dervishes are discussed under the heading “adâb” or “arkân/principles”, either as 210 detached treatise or in the books having the general information about tasawwuf. The aim of this study is to present the view of Sunullah Ghaybî, who was one of the representatives of Bayramî- Malâmatiyya playing an active role in the Ottoman period, on this issue, and to show the similarities and differences in terms of manners between that view and the other sufi orders’ ones.
