Bişr B. Gıyâs El-Merîsî, hayatı, görüşleri ve islâm düşünce tarihindeki yeri

Abstract

Mürcie'den Merîsiyye fırkasının kurucusu olan Bişr b. Gıyâs el-Merîsî, fıkhî bilgileri Ebu Yûsuf'tan almış, Hammâd b. Seleme ve Siifyân b. Uyeyne'den az miktarda hadis rivayet etmiştir. Cehm b. Safvân'ın ortaya attığı Kur'anın yaratılmış ol­duğu fikrini serbestçe tartışmış ve Me'mûn'un ilmi sohbetlerinde yer almıştır. Hadisçiler tarafından bid'atçı ve cehmî olmakla suçlanan Bisr, istitâat (kudret), kaza- kader, irade ve kulların fiillerinin yaratılması konusunda siinnî inancı benimsemiştir.

Bıshr B. Ghıyâth al-Marisî who founded the Marîsıyya party of the Murdjia has got his knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence from Abu Yusuf; he has also nar- rated a small number of traditions from Hamtnad b. Salama and Sufyân b. Uyayna. Furthermore, he has freely debated the idea that the Koran had been created which Djahm B. Safvân brought forth, and has entered into the scientific talks of Ma'mün. Whilst he has been accused by the studens of the traditions of having been apocry- phal and Djahmı, Bıshr has indeed adopted the Sunnite creed regarding the abilitiy (omnipotence of God), eternal preordinance and destiny, will-power and the crea- tion of human acts.
