Püsküllü bela: Diyarbakırlı Osman Nûrî Paşa Divan’ında fes

Abstract

Diyarbakırlı Osman Nûrî Paşa, 19. yüzyılda yaşamış bir devlet adamı ve şairdir. 19.yüzyıl büyük değişimlerin yaşandığı bir yüzyıldır. Bu değişimler hemen her alanda kendini göstermiştir. Ancak yapılan yenilikler, eskiye olan bağlılıklar bu dönemin sancılı bir dönem olmasına neden olmuştur. İmparatorluğun son dönemi olması nedeniyle gücünü yitirmesi ile Avrupa’yı model olarak alması bu oluşumlarda etkilidir. Osman Nûrî Paşa da içinde bulunduğu dönemde gerek şiir alanında gerekse toplumsal kültürel alanda yaşanan değişimleri Divan’ında işlemiştir. Fes de bu konulardan biridir. Geleneksel bir yapıya sahip olan toplumun kılık kıyafetteki değişimin simgesi olan fesin kullanımına dair beyitler bu makalenin konusu olacaktır.

Osman Nûrî Pasha from Diyarbakir was a statesman and poet, who lived in nineteenth century. There had been big changes in the nineteenth century. These changes revealed themselves in almost every avenue. However, the novelties and attachment to the past caused this century to be painful. Empire’s modeling Europe due to losing its power with the decline also affected this century’s being a tough period. In his Divan, Osman Nûrî Pasha also handled the changes in the poetry as well as in the culture. Fez was one of those issues. The couplets related to the use of fez, which was the symbol of the changes in the clothing of a traditional society, would be the subject of this article.
