Kesme Alstroemeria cv. “Ostara “ çiçeklerinin soğukta muhafazası üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, cv. Ostara Alstroemeria kesme çiçekleri 1-2 primer çiçek açık olacak şekilde hasat edilmiş ve çiçeklerin yarısı % 4 Sakkaroz + 4 mM Gümüştiyosülfat (STS) solüsyonuyla ön uygulamaya tabi tutulmuş, diğer yansına ise herhangi bir uygulama yapılmamıştır. İlk uygulamadan hemen sonra olmak üzere 10'ar gün ara ile 0°C'deki depodan çıkanları çiçeklerde, Ağırlık kaybı (%), Solunum hızı (mgCO2/kgh), Suda eriyebilir kuru madde (%) ve Vazo ömrü (gün) incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, muhafaza süresi boyunca % 4 Sakkaroz + 4 mM Gümüştiyosülfat (STS) ön uygulaması, çiçeklerdeki ağırlık kaybını ve solunum hızını azaltmış, vazo ömrünü ise uzatmıştır.

In this study; cut flowers of Alstroemeria cv. "Ostara" were harvested when one or two of the primary flowers were open and half of the flowers were pretreated with 4 % Sucrose + 4 mM Silverthiosulphate (STS) while the other half were left untreated. The flowers which were taken out the store at 10 days intervals first being just after the treatment were examıned with weigth loss (% ), respiration rate (mgC02/ kgh), water salible solids (%) and vase life (days). As the result of the study; pretreatment with 4 % Sucrose + 4 mM Silverthiosulphate (STS) was increased vase life and decreased weight loss and respiration rate of flowers.
