Abstract
Konfüçyüs (M.Ö. 551-479), Çinlilerin başlıca dini olan Konfüçyüsçülüğün kurucusudur. O kendisinin, eski bilgelerin hikmetli sözlerini tekrarlamak suretiyle, barış ve iyi idareye katkıda bulunma misyonuna sahip olduğuna inanmıştır. Fakat onun, yönetimle ilgili düşünceleri yönetici prensleri fazla cezbetmemiştir. Böylece o, kendisini araştırma ve eğitime vermiştir. Konfüçyüsçülük, Çin Klasiklerine dayandırılan ve Konfüçyüs’ün ismiyle ilişkilendirilen -dinî ve ahlâkî, sosyal, politik ve ekonomik- inanç ve uygulamalar bütünüdür.
