Abstract
Sünnet ve benzeri genital operasyonlardan sonra oluşan ağrının neden olduğu ajitasyonu önlemek amacı ile sünnet girişimi yapılan 5-12 yaşları arasındaki 10 çocuğa 0.1 mg/kg. Morfin i.v. verildi. Ameliyat sonrası ayılma odasında analjezi değerlendirmesi iyi, yeterli ve kötü olmak üzere 3 grupta yapıldı. Olgularda ağrıya bağlı ajitasyon görülmedi. 4. saatin sonunda olguların hepsi yeterli derecede yanık ve ağrısız idiler.
The analgesic effect of morphine were studied on children undergoing circumcision procedure. The subjects were ten healthy boys, aged between 5 and 12 years. 0.1 mg/ kg. Morphine was given by intravenously during short procedure. The degree of analgesia was observed on early postoperative time and first, second hours after operation and was recorded as "Poor", "Adaquate" or "Good". Adaquate and good results were noted in eight children but two boys had imufficiency analgesia. Nevertheless agitation did not occur in all. Children were calm and co-operated status at the end of 4th hour.
