Abstract

İznik Konsil’i 325 yılında toplanmıştır.
The Council of Nicea regarded as the first ecumenical council in the history of Christianity. The controversy which arose from the conception of tri-unity was known as the Arian controversy. The controversy revolved around the status of the Son and his relation to the Godhead. The Council of Nicea was convened in 325 C.E. Arius denied that the Son was of the same substance with the Father and reduced him to the rank of a creature, though preexistent before the world. The council’s decision did not terminate the controversy, but only worsened it.
