Abstract
Bu çalışmada, öğretmen yazarlardan Halide Nusret Zorlutuna’nın öğretmenlik mesleği ve öğrencileri ile ilgili anılarının yer aldığı Benim Küçük Dostlarım adlı hatıra kitabı incelenmiştir. Yazar bu kitabında anılarından yola çıkarak, öğretmen öğrenci ilişkisi, öğretmenin sahip olması gereken kişilik özellikleri ve öğretmenin çevresi ile münasebetleri konusunda görüşlerini ortaya koymuştur. Türkiye’nin zorlu bir sınavdan geçtiği dönemde öğretmenliğe başlayan Halide Nusret, yaşadığı dönemdeki öğretmenlik anlayışını ve öğretmen davranışlarını aktararak bir anlamda günümüz öğretmenlerine yol göstermektedir.
In this study, the autobiographical book Benim Küçük Dostlarım by one of the Turkish teacher-writers Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, in which there are the author’s memories of her teaching and students, has been analysed. In this book, basing upon her memories the author has brought up her opinions about teacher-student relationship, required personal characteristics of a teacher, and relationships between a teacher and his/her environment. Halide Nusret, who became a teacher at a time when Turkey was in a great test, has quided today’s teachers in a way by quating the teaching-mentality and the teacher-attitudes of her period.
