Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının öğretmenlik uygulaması 1 dersine ilişkin deneyimleri

Abstract

Hizmet öncesi Türkçe öğretmenlerinin Öğretmenlik Uygulaması 1 dersine ilişkin deneyimlerine verdikleri anlamı keşfetmeyi amaçlayan bu araştırma nitel yaklaşım çerçevesinde tasarlanmış bir olgu bilim araştırmasıdır. Bu doğrultuda araştırmada hizmet öncesi Türkçe öğretmenlerinin 4. sınıfta aldıkları Öğretmenlik Uygulaması 1 dersindeki deneyimleri mesleki gelişime katkı, sorunlar ve öneriler temaları etrafında ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları Marmara Bölgesinde yer alan bir devlet üniversitesinin Türkçe eğitimi ana bilim dalında öğrenim gören ve Öğretmenlik Uygulaması 1 dersini tamamlayan 36 lisans öğrencisidir. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi ile seçilmiştir. Veri toplama sürecinde araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış, veri analizi sürecinde ise MAXQDA nitel araştırma yazılımı aracılığıyla içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları, Öğretmenlik Uygulaması 1 dersinin katılımcıların mesleki gelişimlerine katkı teması altında öğretim deneyimi, hedef kitle farkındalığı ve meslek bilinci; derste yaşanan sorunlar teması altında uygulama okulu temelli sorunlar, uygulama öğretmeni temelli sorunlar, üniversite temelli sorunlar ve ders temelli sorunlar; öneriler teması altında ise uygulama öğretmenlerine yönelik öneriler, öğretim elemanlarına yönelik öneriler, dersin yapılandırılmasına ilişkin öneriler ve diğer öneriler şeklinde kategorilendirilmiştir.

This study employs a phenomenological research design within a qualitative framework to explore how pre-service Turkish teachers evaluate their experiences in the Teaching Practice I course. The research focuses on three main themes: contributions to professional development, encountered problems and participant suggestions. The study involved 36 final year undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Turkish Language Education at a state university in the Marmara Region, all of whom had completed the Teaching Practice I course. Participants were selected using maximum variation sampling, a purposive sampling method. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers and analyzed using content analysis via MAXQDA qualitative research software. The results of the study were organized under the categories of a) contributions to professional development—including teaching experience, awareness of the target group, and professional awareness; problems experienced—categorized as school-based, teacher-based, university-based, and course-based; and (c) suggestions for improvement—including recommendations for mentor teachers, university instructors, course structure, and other general suggestions.
