Ağrılı omuz tedavisinde balneoterapinin yeri

Abstract

42 ağrılı omuzlu hasta rastgele yöntemle iki gruba ayrıldı. I. gruptaki (n:21) hastalara balneoterapi uygulandı. Il. gruptaki (n:21) hastalara ultrason uygulaması yapıldı. Ağrı, basmakla duyarlılık, omuz eklemi hareket açıklığı çalışma parametreleri idi. İki haftalık tedavi bitiminde omuz eklem hareket açıklığında balneoterapi uygulanan hasta grubunda, ultrason uygulanan hasta grubundan istatistiksel anlamlı farklı bir düzelme görüldü. Ağrı ve basmakla duyarlılık parametreleri ise her iki grupta da düzelmişti.42 patients with painful shoulders were divided into two groups randonıly. The patients (n:21) in the first group (group I) were treated with balneotherapy. The patients in the second group (group II) were treated with ultrasound therapy. Pain, tenderness on palpation, range of motion of the shoulder were the treatment parameters. At the end of the study; the patients treated with balneotherapy were improved statistically significantly more than the patients treated with ultrasound tlıerapy in the parameter of range of motion of the shoulder. On the other hand pain and tenderness on palpation were improved statistically significantly in both of the groups.
