Özet
Bu çalışmada Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Nöroloji Polikliniğine başvuran 26 migren vakasına, ortalama 3 ay süre ile profilaksi amacıyla Verapamil Hidroklorid oral yolla verilmiştir. Hastaların % 76 ında migren ataklarının sıklığında ve şiddetinde yeterli (iyi ve çok iyi) derecede azalma saptanmıştır. Yan etki olarak bradikardi, hipotansiyon ve konstipasyon bazı hastalarda gözlenmiş, 3 hastada ilaç kesilmesine sebep olmuştur.
In this study, Verapamil Hydrochloride was given to 26 migraine cases for the purpose of prophylaxy who admitted to the out-patieııt department of Neurology, Medical Faculty of Uludağ University. lt has been showed that Migraine attacks decreased in % 76 of the cases. Side effects of the drug were bradicardia, hypotension and constipation. In three patients we stoped the treatment because of side effects.
