Merkezden uzak bir ilköğretim okulunda sanat eğitimi sorunsalına uygulamalı bir yaklaşım

Abstract

Türkiye’de, merkezden uzak okullarda altyapı ve donanım eksikliği sanat eğitiminde daha belirgin sorunlara neden olmaktadır. Bu okullarda sanat eğitimi öğretmenlerinin olmadığı ve sanat atölyelerinin oluşturulmadığı görülmektedir. Bir toplumun ilerlemeci ve yenilikçi bir bakış açısına sahip olabilmesi için, sanatın geliştirici ve dönüştürücü gücüyle eğitim süreci içinde daha belirgin kazanımlar oluşturulabileceği kabul edilmektedir. Bir grup sanat eğitimi öğretmen adayı ve eğitimcisiyle birlikte, yeterli donanıma sahip olmayan; merkezden uzak bulunan Mazlumlar İlköğretim Okulu’nda, bir dizi sanat eğitimi etkinliğinin gerçekleştirilmesi, bu araştırmanın içeriğini oluşturmaktadır. İlköğretim öğrencilerine etkinlik süresince sanatın dallarını öğretmenin yanı sıra, sanatın gerekliliği üzerine düşüncelerinin geliştirilmesi istenmiştir. Sanat eğitimi öğretmen adaylarının ve ilköğretim öğrencilerinin görüşleri ortaya konularak bir değerlendirmenin yapılması bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmuştur.

In Turkey, lack of infrastructure and equipment in rural schools causes evident problems. It is seen that there are no branch teachers and that no art workshops are founded. For a society to have a progressive and modernist perspective, more evident inputs can be obtained in the education period with the developing and transforming power of art. The carrying out of a series of art education activities with a group of prospective art education teachers and an educator in Mazlumlar Primary School (1rst to 8th grade) which does not have efficient equipment and is far away from the city centre, forms the content of this research. During the activity, besides teaching the different fields of art to primary school students, it was desired to improve their thoughts on the necessity of art in life. Making an evaluation by putting forward the opinions of the prospective art education teachers and primary school students, forms the aim of this study.
