Sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarına göre Covid 19 pandemisinin eğitim öğretim sürecine etkisi: Dicle Üniversitesi örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, Dicle Üniversitesi Ziya Gökalp Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi bölümünde öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarına göre Covid- 19 Pandemisinin eğitim öğretim sürecine etkisini incelenmek amaçlanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, var olan durumu belirtmek için betimsel analiz, daha detaylı bulguları elde etmek ve yorumlamak için de içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Diyarbakır Dicle Üniversitesi Ziya Gökalp Eğitim Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören 40 gönüllü sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu uzman görüşlerine sunulmuş, uzman görüşleri neticesinde forma son hali verilerek yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle öğretmen adaylarına uygulanmıştır. Geliştirilen formun ilk kısmı kişisel bilgilerin, ikinci kısmı ise Covid- 19 pandemisi döneminde eğitimde karşılaşılan sıkıntıların tespit edilmesi amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerini almaya yönelik temalar belirlenmiş, temalara uygun cevaplar kodlar halinde düzenlenmiş ve tekrarlanma sıklıklarına (f) yer verilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerinden alıntılar yapılarak ilgili tablolar altında yer verilmiştir. Organize edilen kelimeler ve cümleler yorumlanarak belirli kodlara ulaşılmış ve aralarındaki ilişkiler yorumlanıp yapılandırılarak temalar oluşturulmuştur. Öğretmen adaylarına Covid- 19 pandemisi döneminde eğitim nasıl etkilenmiştir, bu süreçte kullandığınız araçlar nelerdir, kullandığınız araçlarla ilgili sorunlar yaşadınız mı, hibrit eğitim sürecine geçişte ne gibi zorluklar yaşadınız gibi sorular yöneltilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular ışığında; çevrimiçi derslerde internet alt yapısından kaynaklı sorunlar, eğitimcilerin uzaktan eğitime dair tecrübe eksiklikleri ve çevrimiçi eğitim materyallerinin kısıtlı olması gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the education and training process according to the social studies teacher candidates of Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Education Faculty. In the analysis of the data, descriptive analysis was used to indicate the existing situation, and content analysis was used to obtain and interpret more detailed findings. The sample of the study consisted of 40 volunteer social studies teacher candidates studying at Diyarbakır Dicle University Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education. The semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher was presented to expert opinions, and the form was finalized as a result of expert opinions and applied to teacher candidates by face-to-face interview method. The first part of the developed form was prepared to identify personal information, and the second part to identify the problems encountered in education during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this research, the themes to get the opinions of the pre-service teachers were determined, the answers suitable for the themes were arranged in codes and the frequency of their repetition (f) was included. Quotations from the teacher candidates' opinions are given under the relevant tables. By interpreting the organized words and sentences, certain codes were reached and themes were formed by interpreting and structuring the relationships between them. Teacher candidates were asked questions such as how education was affected during the Covid- 19 pandemic, what are the tools you used in this process, did you have problems with the tools you used, what kind of difficulties did you experience in the transition to the hybrid education process. In the light of the findings obtained; In online courses, results such as problems caused by internet infrastructure, lack of experience of educators in distance education and limited online training materials have been reached.
